With lightweight Squadron laser-cut laminate panels over the 500D Cordura body, the Leonidas is built for battle. Also, ensuring comfort during extended use, the carrier features thin, lightweight, high-density foam standoffs and enhanced shoulder pads. As a result, the Leonidas provides ample air circulation and heat dissipation. Likewise, enhanced padding in the front, back, and shoulders minimizes fatigue and maximizes comfort.
The Berry Compliant Leonidas Legend is Designed to hold 10”x12” or 9.5”x12.5” SAPI/ESAPI plates. Also, providing additional protection, the fully adjustable (and removable) cummerbund features an internal MOLLE panel, for mounting the included pouches for 6”x6” or 6”x8” armored side plates. In addition, the cummerbund offers seven levels of adjustment, allowing for a variety of body types from L to 3XL.
The cummerbund utilizes First Spear Tubes, for faster dawning and removal of the carrier. A top zippered admin pouch is large enough to hold a 6.5-inch-long phone, or whatever else you need at hand. Also, just below the admin pouch is a front kangaroo pouch, retained by hook and loop closure.
In addition to the built-in storage, the carrier features MOLLE webbing on the front, back, and side panels. Likewise, the shoulder straps contain multi-directional laser-cut webbing for additional accessories.
